Holy Book !

Worldly Encounters

The friendly, English-speaking extraterrestrial you run into outside your house is asking you to recommend the one book, movie, or song that explains what humans are all about. What do you pick?

Allah says in the Qur’an in Sura Bani-Israel, verse 9:

“Indeed this Qur’an guides to the path which is clearer and straighter than any other.”

“and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything (16:89).

Words !

Words, can change your life, they can bring you down or take you heavens up. They can cut you into pieces, and leaving only the broken relation. It is a well-known saying;

“Words can be sharper than a sword.”

There are so many words that cheer me up. I hear these words very frequently.

Okay so below you will find the words – by Person

You are my most sensible daughter __ my father

My daughter is so caring and never lied __ My Mother

I love you; you are my Pride__ My Husband.

Achin Khala you are the best __ Wajeeh & Ali Abbas My nephews

Aaaaaa , Afsheeen __ Marium my niece. J

Let’s go out for lunch / dinner __ My Colleagues.

You bring smile to us __ My Friends.

Yes, I know this is enough for self-praising, but this is what WordPress asked today. I am helpless; I have to say all good things which make me feel happy and alive.

Okay let’s discuss the WORDS in more detail as I want to share all that I believe and know.

Words straight from heart can totally change the person; kind words can heal the deepest wounds. I have read about Dr. Emoto, who claims that water forms beautiful crystals on freezing point when we use positive words, and with negative energy, ugly and damaged crystals are formed when frozen. He pasted positive and negative words on water containers and after freezing he study the crystal shape through microscope. His research is not accepted by all scientists but the pictures he published in response to his work are so interesting and I don’t disagree completely from his work. The reason why I am not disagreed with his work will be discussed later in the post.

First see the shapes of crystals and Dr. Emoto work.

Now Why I don’t disagree with Dr.Masaru Emoto is because of my experience. Like in this prompt kind and lovely words make us smile, and give us a positive energy to live life, to go for success and to achieve a better life. On the other hand, if our loved ones use negative words and the arguments get harsh; we just loose our mental strength and enthusiasm to even go for our daily work.

In Islam, reciting the Quranic verses and blew on a water is a very common practice to treat many illness, to get rid of jinn and to break the magical spells, Use of such water in many different problems is permissible in Islam.

The 4 Quls are known as protecting Surahs. Surah Al-Kafiroun and Al-Ikhlas protect from shirk. Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Naas protect from mischief of created things, envy, magic and the whisperings of the shaitaan. If someone recite these 4 quls and blew on water, drink it or sprinkle it in home, This will protect him or his house from many devils and misfortunes.

So, it is easily understood that words can effect on us. Positive words make us a bright and peaceful person and negative words take us near to evil.

and to HIM we shall return !

Today I am writing on word press after 4 days, there were some problems due to which I was unable to write anything, though my heart and my mind had some massive fights with each other on the problems I just mentioned above.

My uncle died four days ago and It was a heart breaking news for me, I just had a conversation with him on phone 15 days earlier, his heart collapse and he couldn’t make it. May Allah bless him in life hereafter, amen. I went to his home (out of city) for condolence, and then just caught up into different thoughts and actually very deep thoughts.

Death has taken one more person in time, and as usual left so many questions behind. I am always afraid of death, not because of fear of dying or leaving this beautiful world or family, but just because of the life hereafter, the dome day.

Al-Imran 3:185

Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

Being a Muslim, I should not fear death, but fear only Allah. This is what I do, but I am not satisfied with what I am doing with my life. I just ask Allah for repentance.

Repentance is the most noble and beloved form of obedience in the eyes of Allah Ta’ala. He loves those who repent and it is because of His love for His creation that He tests them with sins so that He may shower His blessings and favors upon them after they repent.

Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:160

Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept-for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace.

I am trying my best to be an obedient human of Allah. Who created me, give me life and Who will take me from here one day. I just pray to Allah, Please make me a person just the way you like. Help me and bless me. Ameen

Daily Prompt: Truth or Dare

Is it possible to be too honest, or is honesty always the best policy?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us TRUTH.

I want to discuss this topic completely with Religious point of view.

Islam is the religion which is so practical and so peaceful; it gives priority to Humanity and peace. Our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w) taught us so many ways to be a better human being and to create a better society.

In the Hadith, Prophet Muhammad was also quoted as saying, “Be honest because honesty leads to goodness, and goodness leads to Paradise. Beware of falsehood because it leads to immorality, and immorality leads to Hell.”

In Quran: “And cover not the truth with falsehood nor conceal the truth when you know.” Al-Baqarah 2:42

In Islam saying Truth is a major key to lead us to heaven, but we also see in Islamic history that lying is not considered sinful in 3 cases when it is really necessary to save life or relation (JUST IN 3 CASES AND NOT ALLOWED IN ANY OTHER CASE):

-In battle: when your life is on threat and your life is necessary for completing the task or to save many others.

-For bringing reconciliation amongst persons: To bring 2 persons close enough to understand their problems and to find the solution. It is like the final try to make things better between relations.

the narration of the words of the husband to his wife, and the narration of the words of a wife to her husband (in a twisted form in order to bring reconciliation between them) as Divorce is strongly dislike by Allah, although DIVORCE is allowed in Islam when it is really impossible to live happily with each other after all efforts and patience. Islam encourages a married couple to give happiness to each other but when husband or wife tease each other, and create trouble intentionally, Islam allows divorce.

May ALLAH bless us all and help us all to understand the KEY of being a Good human. Ameen

The ONE !

Tell us about a time you’d been trying to solve a knotty problem — maybe it was an interpersonal problem, a life problem, a big ol’ problem — and you had a moment of clarity when the solution appeared to you, as though you were struck by lightening.

Photographers, artists, poets: show us AWESTRUCK.

Many times in my life, and the only power that shows me the right way on the right time is ALLAH and after ALLAH the life of  PANJTAN PAK.

  7. The path of those whom You have favored. Not of those who have earned Your anger and nor of those who have gone astray.

All gone leaving ONE !

What a topic today !!

Tell us about a time you found out after the fact that you’d been mistaken and you had to eat a serving of humble pie.

Really its soul shaken…

33 Years of my Life , i wanted to become a person who pray 5 times a day , who recite Quran daily , Who speak true and deny every lie and false. Who lives a life – like a True Muslim. Sometimes i perform all the basic practices of Islam and sometimes i fail. But thanks Allah, that HE Almighty Allah is the most kind and helpful for us, prefer our judgment on OUR DEALING WITH HUMAN BEINGS rather than Preaching HIM only. Namaz (Prayer 5 times a day), Fasting, Reciting Quran only are not enough to be a MUSLIM.

But sad – very sad, I am neither a PERFECT HUMAN nor MUSLIM.

There is a list of such Moments when I felt I was mistaken. But Thanks Allah none of them was so serious or damaging that makes me feel regret still. They were all the mistakes which a learner can done while learning the lesson which life has to taught us.

One such regrets I have which is not painful now because it makes us (I and my sister) laugh NOW. I remember when I was 16 years old , My eldest sister was 10 years old , she gifted me a Dark Brown bear with a pen on my birthday (First time ever), and bought the same for herself which was White in color and more cute than brown. I took the gift and said; “You bring better for yourself I don’t need this gift and thrown it away” She gets angry and may be hurt also said: “I gifted this bear to you because I liked it for you’’ … She lefts in anger and I realized what I have done!! …….. It was BAD until I make things better again with my sister.

One day, I had a hard talk on some issue with my mother and I left home in early morning for work without having breakfast which she made for me and I hit the door hard and left. But all the way to factory and then during work I was ashamed of my act and I didn’t concentrate on work at all. I was guilty on my behavior, I came back home and sit with my mother, didn’t said sorry but she knew I m sorry and she smiled. Mothers are blessings and May Allah blesses all mothers.

And a list like these goes on….. But I am lucky that I m blessed with everyone love and respect even I sometime don’t deserve.

I believe, we stop regretting the moment as soon as we apologize and forgiven by the person who we hurt the most in the whole situation.

But yes I still have one, why I didn’t met My Husband in a very early age. I can be a very better person if I get marry with him when I was 20. I know after marrying him I am a much better human being.

Thanks Allah for all his blessing HE showers on me always.

A New Chapter with a big thought !

Today I had a wonderful visit to an art school and a local market with my Mother in law.

After 57 days, since I left my job I traveled in any local transport and for a very first time with my Mother in law which is an unique experience itself :). She paid all the fares of van, bus and then auto and I traveled with her like a child who just enjoy the journey by looking around, smiling and had fun. I really enjoyed my dependence on her. (For my waggish friends, answer in advance: No it’s not because she pays the money everywhere ;)).

She was taking me to the place where I always wanted to go, A place where I could enhance my Artistic Ability.( I think I have – I will find out soon ).

Here take a look. Embroidery done by me is evidence that I know a lil bit of ART.

SANATZAR, Social Welfare Department, City District Government, Lahore… phewwwww finally!!  First view of this building from outside was like, serious teachers all boring routine classes, issuance of certificate and THE END but as I entered inside it was like a whole new world, “a whole new BIG GIRLS world”…

Hurray I am back to my fun days 🙂 this was my second but very instant thought. Girls and Women of all ages from 15 to 50 were busy around there in work, having fun, some of them were eating one of my favorite snacks (Chicken roll) which I used to eat almost daily when I was studying and my first aim is to eat that chicken roll as soon as I get there. My happiness is clearly visible from my face, that’s what I felt in my Mother in law eyes who helped and supported me to reach here.

As I approach reception area it was clearly evident that it’s not just an ART SCHOOL it’s something way more I was expecting. On the information desk a lady provides me the form and prospectus which has a complete details but in short It’s an INSTITUTION which has completed its 39 years with an objective to enhance the potential, ability and strength of women by converting them from dead into social capital. This institutes provide training in 100 skill courses and then help them to start small businesses , several NGO’s , Police department are also involved in the welfare work with this institute. And guess what??? The form cost only 20 Rupees and Admission fee starts from 100 Rupee only. Man that’s so affordable!!

Take a look at the form, the language used is URDU and its Pakistan’s National language.

And yeah I am going to take 2 courses, one is cutting and sewing as I am tired of giving so many amounts to tailors 😉 and second one is Art and Craft.  That means so many new stories and art pieces are coming your way.

While coming back home Aunty (Mother in law) stops at local market near our home for buying vegetables. My Mother in law is a very old resident of this area and most of the shop keepers knows her well and show respect to her by giving her quick response. Today I see the proof also.

A lady reached to the vegetable shop on the same time when we reached there but the seller man quickly turn to my mother in law and start weighing the vegetables she want to buy. On that time the lady standing over the other side of stall said a funny thing in a taunting way which I could not resist to share, she said: “Oh hello hello!! how quickly you are weighing the potatoes for her , if people are in that much rush and want to buy so much  vegetables then they must call from home and book there vegetables, I am standing here but no one is bothering to see me” .

(Translation In Punjabi language : Aye haye inni chatii chatii allo toolee ja ray ho ..inni chatii hondi aay lokaan noo tay ghero phone ker k saman ready kera liya kero , athay aa ker chayti chayti apna kaam kera liya , asee kadun dey kheray aan ). I never knew that people could be so impatient even while buying vegetables. Funny but later it raises some questions in my mind.

Why we are so impatient now? Our society and our global issues are full of stories where intolerance and restiveness create troubles, disputes, negative arguments violence and even wars.

Why we are not following the Islamic practices of Patience and equality, even knowing them very well? (Being a Muslim, this is the key practice which we must follow). I know it’s a big issue to debate on. That’s why I am just sharing this Quran verse to express what I feel and what I have been taught always.

And give good news [of Allah’s rewards] to those who are patient. (Quran , Surah Al-Baqra 2: 155)
