Daily Prompt: Forgive and Forget?
Share a story where it was very difficult for you to forgive the perpetrator for wronging you, but you did it — you forgave them.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us REPENTENCE.
…
Well let me say this i have to understand this topic today. Forgiveness and Repentance.
Forgiveness is letting go and forget (not necessarily) the feeling of intense pain given to us by some person or act.
Repentance is asking for forgiveness from Allah. The sins or regrets we have.
These both conditions are opposite to each other and I have faced both, obviously I am just a HUMAN BEING. Human being’s can be very strong but sometimes the weakest creature on earth. Allah and our destiny show us many ways to help us understand ourselves and our existence but the poor us, we fails. Only few understand the reason of being alive.
We live and forget that we have to die one day. We do what we like and we criticize every single act and person around us, but if only we see ourselves first and analyze what we are doing, then it is impossible for us to hurt or criticize others. When we will see our mistakes we will ask for repentance from Allah, and if this practice is followed by all individuals this world will be a peaceful place but this could be my dream only not reality.
Many people have hurt me so bad, they have given me the worst time of my life, my weak part never want to forgive them but my heart knows if I didn’t forgive them, Allah may also not forgive them because according to my knowledge, Allah can forgive us for not following HIS rules like Praying, fasting, Hajj but can never Forgive those who create troubles for HIS mankind, and HE will never forgive that person who hurt someone intentionally until the person who was hurt will forgive him first. I have forgiven every person who hurted me and betrayed me ever. I know Allah is Great and the most Al-Ghaffar (الغفار) The Forgiving, Al-Ghafur (الغفور) The Forgiver and Hider of Faults, but HE is also Al-Qahhar (القهار) The Subduer. We must be prepare for the life here after.
I see my mistakes. I want to be a good person and I m struggling hard, which teaches me to forgive others and ask forgiveness from Allah.
MAY ALLAH FORGIVE ME AND MY ALL LOVED ONES.AMEEN
MAY ALLAH HELP US ALL TO BE A GOOD HUMAN BEING.AMEEN
MAY ALLAH HELP US ALL TO UNDERSTAND WHO WE ARE AND WHY WE ARE HERE.AMEEN

If we will start to read the Holly Book and stop to interpret every line the world will be more beautiful. There are so many beautiful similarities in our religions and yet sometimes we forgot about respect.
Yes you are right Adrian B. i agree. We must give respect to every person. What ever is the religion , the most important things in every religion is humanity.
