Do you have a tattoo? If so, what’s the story behind your ink? If you don’t have a tattoo, what might you consider getting emblazoned on you skin
Two things to clear before I write anything else:
1. I don’t have any
2. Permanent Tattoos are not appreciated in ISLAM but this is not the reason behind NOT HAVING A TATTOO.
I used to like tattoos when I was young and draw many tattoos with black pen on my forearm and then washed them away. I never tried or wish to have a permanent tattoo because I can’t hide myself under these self made figures. This INK can push your personality back sometimes.
But I love to have temporary henna tattoos and I stain my hands with henna on special occasion like Eid and events like weddings for sure. It’s a must DO for me. I do it myself also.
Here, take a look.
This first is I done for my husband Birthday Surprise and other on Eid’s.

Afsheen – so beautiful!

Beautiful work. I do have a tattoo. It’s two crows on intertwined branches. My wife and I got the same one when we became engaged to marry.
🙂 great but why Crows ?
We both love crows… I collect crow artwork and anything with crows on them. When we met and discovered that we both loved crows we took it as a sign that we were meant for each other… Not many other people I’ve met have been as fascinated with crows as we are. I even have a crow call I use from the front porch to get them to land in my yard!
That’s wonderful 🙂 . I love owls 🙂 … but i was wondering why didn’t you choose crow instead of monkey for your Blog ???
In Eastern poetry , Crow is mostly used, they called it KA-GA. Crow has importance in our Islamic history as well. And as per my knowledge this bird lives a very very long life, above hundred. So , it is a unique bird and so do you both ( u n ur wife) because of your love sign 🙂
I like owls too. I live in a rural area so sometimes I get lucky and see an owl flying around at night.
I chose my monkey, Doug, because he already had a personality. Over the past few years I used Doug to interact with my daughters, and even my wife. He’s become a part of the family with his own personality. It was easy to start using him as the basis of my blog…
I would like to do more with crows though. In our Western tradition crow is associated with the spiritual world and acts as a guide between this world and the spirit realm…I like that idea. This website talks about the characteristics of crow: http://spirit-animals.com/crow/
🙂 Doug is the same monkey i see in your Blog ? or a Real one ?
No, there’s only one Doug… the one you see on my blog. I just pretend he’s real!
🙂 like Mr bean have a brown lil teddy 🙂
Yes, but Doug has attitude… He’s a monkey of action.
good 🙂
